Wine Item Detail Item Description:Horsetail 2007 Pinot Noir - SOLD OUT Tasting Notes: This is the first vintage for second generation winemakers Jared and Mikey Etzel, the sons of Mike Etzel from Beaux Freres. Aromas of ripe strawberries, Tahitian vanilla cream pie and lilac emerge as the wine breathes in fresh air. When just opened, most of the flavors come through on the finish, the aromatics carrying the initial flavors. Supported by big bramble and wood, the wine finishes on a rustic note, almost like drinking good wine in a log cabin on a cold rainy day.
