Wine Item Detail Item Description:Libra 2008 Riesling - SOLD OUT Tasting Notes: Also a southern Oregon belle, but sourced from Umpqua Valley’s Doerner Vineyard, which boasts having some of the oldest Riesling vines in the state, being only the seventh vineyard to be bonded in Oregon. German immigrant Adam Doerner brought clippings from Napa Valley’s Beringer Vineyard in 1888 and now fifth generation Christina Doerner farms the old vine vineyard. Being a very dry style of Riesling, it is balanced with some intense floral aromas of honeysuckle and lily. Dynamic and alluring, incredible bright acid, flavors of orange blossom, and just picked stone fruit are all satin across the palate. The long vibrant finish is a splendid end to this chariot ride.
