Wine Item Detail Item Description:Libra 2010 Pinot Gris Tasting Notes: Bill and Linda Hanson sourced the majority of the fruit for the Libra Pinot Gris from the Del Rio Vineyard located in the Rogue River Valley of southern Oregon. Sitting at approximately 1,000 feet on a southern facing slope with well-drained rocky soil, the Del Rio Vineyard, sources to over twenty vintners, including Ken Wright, Penner Ash and Elk Cove. Imagine the perfect harmony of aromas between flint and a myriad of juicy tropical fruit with a dash of spice. The first impression on the tongue is a seductive sweetness, but then bright acid exudes from the crisp citrus notes, and softness from white sun-kissed peaches. Even though there is great symmetry on this pretty gal, she will be sure to tip your scales, and win you over. Only 50 cases of this beauty were produced. RESERVE IT!>> >>Back |
