Wine Item Detail

Item Description:
de Lancellotti Family Vineyards 2010 Pinot Noir - de Lancellotti Vineyard

Tasting Notes:
A complex elegance and prettiness which permeates the vintage shows through in this beauty as well. The entry smooth with an enveloping texture on the tongue followed by a nice clean finish of fine grained tannins. Aromas lift out of the glass with a base of dusty bramble, like a summer evening walk along a dirt road lined with ripe blackberries. A bit of perfume consisting of freshly turned soil and vanilla bean create an aroma that is tantalizing familiar, but hard to place. Flavors revolve around that same dusty bramble and evolve into a bushel of red berries blended with pie cherries, following with deep earth flavors exploding on the palate. This is a wine with a complex and amazing finish. This is a wine to enjoy now with duck breast or cellar for another few years and have with lamb, as it is one of those wines that will grow with time in the bottle.
