Arterberry Maresh 2007 Pinot Noir - Maresh Vineyard

Tasting Notes:
The fruit came from the oldest vines on the property and is comprised of Pommard and Wädenswil clones that were planted back in 1970. Exotic and spicy, the aromas range from warm cherry pie to clean earth with depth and complexity. Big red cherry up front, with oven-warmed black plums and something pleasantly mysterious, like dried herbs, on the back palate, this elegant wine has no edges. With a sexy hugging grip, the Maresh has an unbelievably long finish. There are no illusions or smoke and mirrors with this wine.
