Tasting Notes:
A delicate little lady with only 15 percent new French oak, but loads of great concentrated flavors and fantastic texture, this is just the beginning of the journey with the beautiful 2008 vintage. Baking spices, bright candied cherry, and a dusting of cinnamon are balanced with more earth aromas, smoke and game. A vivid trio of cherry, red raspberry and red currant explodes on the palate with pleasant earthiness on the end. This, combined with unctuous texture, lightly chewy tannins and a lengthy finish, makes for an exquisite and graceful experience.
