Brick House 2008 Chardonnay

Tasting Notes:
The 2008 Chardonnay was produced using 100% biodynamic and organic fruit and processing, with absolutely no manipulation or any new French oak of any kind. With visions of Burgundy dancing in my head, the aromas of dusty cement, toasted hazelnut and lemon zest actually gave me butterflies. Caramelized sugar, without the sweetness, citrus tones of Meyer Lemon and Ruby Red grapefruit, and a back palate of Filberts are well-integrated into a sexy silky beauty balanced with bright acidity and a magnificent finish. Rarely am I left speechless, but this…this…Chardonnay is a gentle giant.
